Salesforce Professional | Business Analysis and Consulting
As a skilled Salesforce consultant and LinkedIn instructor, I have successfully optimized sales processes and revamped Salesforce systems for medium to large businesses. While not currently seeking full-time employment, I am available for ad hoc projects. For more information, please reach out to me directly or visit my LinkedIn profile.
My focus is on helping clients achieve their business goals by ensuring their technology is aligned with their needs. I conduct a thorough analysis of their requirements and design solutions using best practices to ensure successful implementation.
As a LinkedIn Learning instructor, I offer a course called “Salesforce for Admins” aimed at newly certified or transitioning Salesforce professionals. My course equips you with all the necessary knowledge to prepare for your first role as an administrator and to configure Salesforce efficiently for your organization. By the end of the course, you will have gained new skills that you can apply at work to enhance the Salesforce experience for users.
My main passion is to support women in the technology field and help new technologists. This is what drove me to create Lipstick and Tech, which started out as a blog aimed at combating the stereotype of male nerds. Over time, it has evolved into a business that helps people launch careers in cloud computing. Specifically, I focus heavily on career paths related to Salesforce and offer various digital products and career services to support this. If you’re interested in these services, you can find them on my website LipstickAndTech.com.
It is an honor to have contributed to SalesforceBen.com, a highly regarded blog within the Salesforce industry. My article, “10 Pieces of Advice for Entry-Level Salesforce Professionals,” has garnered significant attention. I also shared my predictions for 2023 in Salesforce career and technologies in this article. Read here!
As a Salesforce liaison, I collaborated with a solar panel customer to develop customized solutions for their enterprise hurdles and enhance their workflows.
I worked with stakeholders to improve business processes for Marketing, Sales, and Engineering in a 200+ user environment. We used Sales and Service Cloud, Badger, SAP, HubSpot, and other integrations.
In my role as a point of contact for Salesforce expertise, I had the opportunity to work closely with a client in the solar energy industry. Together, we developed tailored solutions to address their specific business challenges and enhance their current processes. It was a pleasure to use my knowledge and experience to make a positive impact on their operations.
I joined the conversation with Christine Marshall (Salesforce Ben), Megan Tuano (Salesforce Consultant), Kimberly Barnes (Lipstick & Tech), and Ben McCarthy (Salesforce Ben) to chat about where to start with personal branding topics.
“From establishing your core values to dealing with Imposter Syndrome, our panel of experts will be discussing how to identify opportunities, set meaningful goals, and empower others in the community”.
I was invited to speak to Carnegie Mellon University’s “Strategies for Your Software Industry Career” course to discuss what software and technical professionals should know about personal branding and tips for creating a more robust LinkedIn profile!

The course provided an introduction to business concepts that are relevant to the software industry and required collaboration among teams to research and report on a technology-focused business from various perspectives. Our final presentation involved sharing our findings and predictions for Twilio, the company we studied.
The course aimed to introduce students to various qualitative and quantitative research methods and analysis techniques for Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Our team chose a relevant topic, the Great Resignation, and used a variety of methods to investigate and draw conclusions. We learned how to apply research methodologies effectively.
